Payment Plans:
Payment plans are available for each of our journeys – please contact us to arrange this option.

PLEASE NOTE:  While this is spoken of in the Terms and Conditions I feel it is important to illuminate here.  The itinerary as presented is subject to change.  Our visits to sites mentioned, and other sites not mentioned are subject to conditions within Peru.  For instance, once there was a strike which prevented access to roadways and trains for two days.  The itinerary had to be altered – this kind of thing happens!  We didn’t miss anything – we simply re-arranged our dates and hotels.   We work with native elders and ceremonialists who join us from mountaintop and other locations.  This is Peru!  You will love it!

Not included: Airfares other than those specifically mentioned in our brochure or itinerary.  Passport and visa fees, airport departure taxes, meals not mentioned in our itinerary.  All beverages consumed during meals and items of a personal nature such as laundry, room service, and communications charges will be your responsibility.  If you plan to purchase gifts and souvenirs, you will want to bring extra funds for this purpose.  If you arrive or depart at times other than our group, there will be additional transfer fees for being met at, or taken to, the airport, brought to or from the hotel, and for any extra accommodations prior to or beyond the duration of the tour will be paid by the traveler.  Trip cancellation and medical insurance is not included but is highly recommended.

Tipping:   Tips are greatly appreciated by waiters, porters and others who help us along the way in Peru.   A small consideration can be given as you feel moved to do so—in Peru 10% would be very generous. Gratuities for drivers, guides, ceremonialists, presenters and special guests are included.

Payment: Personal checks, money orders, bank transfers, and cashier checks are welcomed. Please make checks payable to Integrative Archaeology Foundation and mail to POB 670, Sedona, Az. 86339.  Credit Card payment will accrue an additional fee of 4% for processing, added to the base amount.

Cost Increases: Tour costs are printed well in advance of our actual travel dates. Although extremely unlikely, in exceptional circumstances, the cost of your international trip may be subject to increases which we cannot absorb, due to reasons such as currency fluctuations, fuel costs, tariffs, dues, taxes and fees overseas, the costs of services overseas, additions/adjustments to the tour program, or developments beyond our control. We regret this situation and we do everything possible to avoid surcharges, but sometimes it is unavoidable. We reserve the right to adjust prices before the tour as these changes are made known to us. An increase in tour prices shall not be grounds for refund of all or any part of payments made towards a tour, and completing your deposit for the journey constitutes your acceptance of this provision.

Roommate Pairing: We will make every effort to pair participants with roommates if they so desire.  We cannot guarantee that we will be able to find a roommate for each person that desires to have one.  In the event we cannot locate a roommate, it will be necessary for the traveler to pay the additional fee for a private room.  Since we do accept sign-ups to within a couple weeks of our departure date, we will be able to let you know if there will be an additional fee prior to departure.  Should an additional fee be required, we will expect full payment by August 1, 2017 or at the time of booking thereafter.  Should a viable roommate sign up after this date, your additional fee for a private room will be refunded.

Cancelled Trips:   In circumstances where trip cancellations resulting from the inability for trip to depart as scheduled, such as cancellations due to acts of war and/or terrorism, war, God, or nature takes place, Integrative Archaeology Foundation is not liable for restitution.  Integrative Archaeology Foundation is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by travelers in preparing for the trip, such as non-refundable advance purchase airline tickets, visa and passport fees, equipment, clothing or medical costs.

Cancellation and Refunds: All cancellations must be electronically transmitted (email) and dated prior to midnight on the dates outlined herein. Please realize that money is sent on to secure hotels, train, and other conveyances and services for your journey and those funds are non-refundable to us.  Refunds are calculated on payment having been made in full and will be granted based on the following schedule: A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is due with your registration form.

Cancellations received prior to xxxx pay a $1,000 cancellation fee.
Cancellations after xxxx pay a 100-percent cancellation fee.
Absolutely no refunds will be made for any portion of the journey unattended. Should you decide to leave the journey at any time, there will be no refunds for unused portions of the journey and you will be asked to sign a declaration stating that it is your decision to leave the tour.

We highly recommend the purchase of a trip cancellation insurance policy if you have concerns that you may have to cancel the trip. Your signature on our registration form affirms that you have read and completely understand the information and conditions stated herein and agree to all terms.  A separate registration form must be signed by each traveler.  If you have any questions, please call us.  Any disputes will be settled via mediation or arbitration and the AZ American Arbitration.

Refund and trip protection is not included and we strongly suggest you acquire this insurance. Should a traveler’s cancellation change the room configuration, thereby incurring a single supplement charge to a roommate, the amount of the additional charge will be deducted from the traveler’s refund.  This is in addition to any other cancellation fees that may apply.

Integrative Archaeology Foundation reserves the right to substitute presenters and leaders should this be necessary or feasible.  Notice of such substitution will be given to program participants, but this substitution will in no way change the terms of the agreement between Integrative Archaeology Foundation and the program participant; nor can it be construed as a reason for refunds.

Integrative Archaeology Foundation is not responsible for any physical, mental, emotional, or other reaction, trauma, or ailment during the trip or occurring afterwards, that participants may experience at the sites or from any leaders, workshops, or sessions of any kind, including private sessions with presenters, shamans and healers. Attendance on the trip indicates acceptance of this and all other provisions of this responsibility clause.

Integrative Archaeology Foundation has recommended the purchase of appropriate travel/medical/accident insurance, baggage insurance, tour operation carrier default protection insurance, and trip cancellation insurance, and the travel program participant has had the opportunity to purchase such insurance as protection against certain risks of travel to the planned destination. Travel program participants are advised that travel insurance covers only what is included as stated as covered in the travel insurance brochure you receive from your personal agent. It is the responsibility of the program participant to be certain they are purchasing the coverage they desire.

Neither Integrative Archaeology Foundation nor the airlines or transportation companies concerned are to be held responsible for the late arrival of passengers at airports or resorts due to inclement weather or other delays, nor are they to be held liable for payment of, or any refund for, transfers or unused hotel accommodations or meals occasioned by such late arrival at the hotels holding rooms as confirmed itineraries. The passenger contract in use by the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines or transportation companies and the purchaser of this travel program and/or passengers. Any disputes of any kind are to be taken up with the specific service providers.

Trip Pricing: We have found that pricing shifts continuously upward in Peru as the dollar declines.  If we experience a shift in pricing for items that cannot be purchased in advance of our arrival in Peru, a surcharge will be passed along to the traveler.  The amount of the surcharge, if there is one, is likely to be minimal.

Passports: The passport of the program participant must have an expiration date six months past the completion of travel.  Portals of Transcendence collects information concerning the passport number, date of birth, and full name of the travel participant which must be provided to secure hotels, trains, boats, planes, and other forms of conveyance and service within the country or countries where we travel.  The accuracy of this information is essential and we require a clear and legible copy of your passport at time of registration to be submitted along with the initial deposit.
